when you're busy having birthdays, celebrating mother's day, visiting friends and generally running around after your kids...

My favourite birthday card carries the quote

life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well- preserved body but rather a skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, body thoroughly used up and worn out, screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!"

Love that. I really want to be able to say Woo-Hoo! at the end of it all....



Here's a boat that definitely provided a WOO HOO kind of ride for Jonah this past weekend. Crazy fast and crazy loud - kinda the opposite of the mellow peacefulness of ordinary boating experiences...
