...to what inspires me to create and the results of that inspiration. Here, you will find just a little something of all the things I am. I'd like to share with you my photography, life art, jewelery, writing, words from others that inspire me, teaching, and learning.
What inspires you today?

Realize that true happiness lies within you. Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the world outside. Remember that there is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving. Reach out. Share. Smile. Hug. Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. Og Mandino
I am a mother to 2 boys, a wife, a sister, a daughter, an auntie, and a friend.
I am a teacher, with experience in Learning Assistance and Learning Disabilities, and French Immersion. This year I am teaching grade one in French Immersion. I also have a somewhat under-utilized degree in International Relations.
I frequently teach 3 year olds and their parents early literacy within the framework of the national Parent-Child Mother Goose program. This has been more delightful than I could have imagined.
I have also enjoyed teaching French to adults and I regularly tutor children in English and French.
A few years ago, I started beading as a kind of "brain-break" and I now have a small business making one-of-a-kind jewelery, which is where "just a little something" comes from (I was always giving friends "just a little something" i had made).
And finally, I am passionate about Life Art: Photography + Words = Scrapbooking for the new millenium. I taught scrapbooking classes as a Creative Memories consultant and I recently taught an altered clipboard class for a local scrapbooking store. I enjoy writing, so a blog seemed a pretty obvious next step. Welcome!
